The gate came with all the hardware for all scenarios. My puppy figured out he could lift the curtain. In the hardware kit had a way to help hold it down. I didn't have to use it because I didn't lock the reel that holds the curtain. By locking the reel the puppy can't get under the curtain. Ideal for kids and pets to restrain them in a room.
