onn Full HD Streaming Device, Google TV - Fast Streaming, 8GB Storage, 1.5GB RAM, Remote with Voice Control

I LOVE this Google Streaming device. I bought this as an alternative to the Amazon Firestick that stopped working out of the blue. I refused to give into their planned obsolescence, so I went without for a while until I discovered The Google device by Onn. I'm really enjoying it! It's very easy to use, it's white, which makes it easy to find, it has 4 home app buttons which coincidently are the apps that I use most frequently. YouTube, Netflix, Disney and Paramount . It's perfect for me!

I'm very glad to have this streaming stick. It turns my "kind of" smart TV into a smarter TV. My television set is older so the software is limited and so are the apps. This stick gives me access to apps and services I would not otherwise have. As time goes on and the TV software is no longer supported this stick will become that much more valuable as I'll continue to have access to new apps as well as the ones I've always had. It plugs right into the HDMI port and streams in great quality. It's small and easy to install, especially because it comes with a short HDMI extension cord. The remote is great and, once set up, even allows me to control my television's volume. It's easy to use, has shortcut buttons to some of your favorite streaming services (Netflix, YouTube, Disney +), and a handy Google Assistant button that will take your voice commands for everything else. Set up was easy and I was up and running in no time. It's linked up with the rest of my Google Home set up so just giving verbal commands to my Google Mini speakers to play something can activate this device, which will turn on the television and just start streaming video, photos, or even just music. The built in Chromecast is my favorite function as I can send video and audio from my other devices (mostly my phone) to the TV to play. This is easily the most used device in the house (aside from the TV, of course).
