They seem to do the trick! it was a little confusing for adjusting them at first but the link is fairly easily overall, it's just going to take a second to find the perfect size for your baby. It did seem to block out voices and the sounds of shooting fireworks. ultimately I gave them to my friend that has a baby with tubes in his ears and she seems to love them! If you need the product they're great, but for infrequent use they might be unnecessary.
