This is a high-quality laptop backpack. The material is very sturdy and the zippers are so smooth and well-built. It has enough pockets to store your most important items when traveling. It accomodated my 16-inch HP Spectre X360 16 laptop which has a tall aspect ratio. It has enough protective padding inside without getting too bulky and heavy. It has enough space to allow you to organize your items into their own compartment. This is perfect for traveling and I highly recommend it.

As expected just what I wanted

The reason I went to Swissgear to purchase a bag was about 15 years ago I got one and it had been just about the only bag I had used for anything until it finally started to wear out and I got sick of sewing it back together along the top zipper areas. The bag I chose this time was hopefully even better at being a laptop and tablet and general multi-purpose bag than the previous one. As a truck driver I've been using it everyday at work and it would suit me even better as a student. It's comfortable to bring for long ebike rides too. It's worth paying a bit extra for a good quality bag and if this one lasts half as well as the previous one like I expect it will based on my initial few weeks of uses I'll be as pleased with it as I am now- which is very much so. Originally I bought it because it was on sale for Father's Day and was considering giving it to my dad but since he had already had a travel bag he was pleased with I decided to get him something else and keep it for myself because it was so good for my uses.

Great backpack I expect to last for awhile.

I bought this backpack to replace my old Swiss backpack. It's sturdy feels durable like my past Swiss backpacks and has more storage than I was expecting. It doesn't stand up by itself when placed on the ground but that doesn't bother me. It also fits my 15. 6 laptop with an additional laptop cover just fine. I will be going through the airport soon so we will see how the TSA checkout goes but from others have said I expect it to go smoothly.
