Smoking indoors...AIR CLEANER a necessity

I've only been using the Honeywell Air Genius 3 Air Purifier for a few days, but can tell you it is definitely doing the job. Energy star rated, we'll see if it is... with the next electric bill. I've had several air cleaners over the years and some were energy hogs. We have a small home less than 700sq ft. We are smokers, so we really need a good quality air cleaner. It does clear the haze of smoke. I love the oscillating feature.Tthe unit is large, but fits quite well in our main living area and it does clear the whole house of smoke. I love the three speed controls. the dust levels have been reduced dramatically. We have pets and I have noticed they seem to be more content, not as restless. I have been sleeping longer (that's a plus for me) and I believe the air-cleaner is the reason. I would highly recomment this Air Cleaner.

Great for a Small Apartment

We bought the air purifier to help the air quality for an old apartment that my daughter lived in. She just had a baby, and when they first went home to apartment, after a week and a half at our house, her baby had breathing troubles, and a runny nose. After a trip to the doctor to make sure it wasn't a virus, we decided to try an air purifier. The results were almost immediate. No more breathing problems, and the odor in the apartment was gone. Well worth the money for the health of our grandchild, and children.

Allergies Improved

Put this in my bedroom and have been running it on 4 for 2 days straight. It's very quiet and I noticed no smell whatsoever. I bought this to help with allergies in a room where the window is opened rarely. In just the last 2 nights with this filter, I have noticed a drastic improvement in my runny nose and slept better. Will be buying another for my living room.
