Great for the price and purpose

I ordered one to test use in my closet. I immediately ordered a second once I assembled it. I was seeking extra storage and looked at this and IKEA Billy. This was less and delivered for free. :) It worked perfectly for my needs. The assembly was super simple and not time-consuming. It probably took longer unpack and break down the box. I wouldn't personally use this free-standing. It comes with supports. I screwed it to the side of my existing closet shelves. I have recently assembled too much furniture! The veneer seems fairly sturdy. I didn't scratch or break anything, and that happened with most of the other items I've been assembling. Some stuff is just too fragile or thin of veneer. 5 stars based on price and expectation. I'm happy it worked for my closet. It is the smaller shelf on left if you are questioning.

Fits LOADS of blue ray, or video games !

I needed a narrow shelf for blue rays in my gamer room closet. Already had normal shelves set up for board games and all, but had a small space I could fill with this for blue rays, video games , and DVDs and it's perfect for what I needed. As far as sturdiness , it is ! BUT I have it squeezed into a corner of that closet. There's many pieces of securing hardware had I needed it but I didn't so I'm unsure how that stuff works.
