LEGO City Fire Truck Interlocking Block Building Set

Purchased for 5 yr old boy who absolutely loves this fire truck. He assembled all himself with very few hints from me. I just turned the pages of the instruction book for him & would point if something didn't look quite right, but he was able to figure the correction on his own. He assembled it in about 1 hour, but it kept his attention the entire time. Loves all the gadgets that come with it...all kinds of tools for firemen to use plus storage on board truck for all. Particularly like to use the ladder attached to the back top of the truck that can be moved in any direction and expand to 2x it's length. Also, firemen can actually grip sides of ladder to climb up. It comes w 2 hoses that acan ctually coil around a mechanism on the truck & be pulled out. Another favorite is the little storage area in middle of truck that flips up on both side to expose area for tools. Also comes w oxygen tanks and mask for 1 firefighter that he loves to use. ( The only issue we have had is that a small locking plate on underside of drivers roof area comes off once in a while, but doesn't really affect functionality or enjoyment of product.) Really great set!

Great product, grandchildren love it.
