I gave this to my grandson for his 6th birthday. I'm always amazaed at how precisely made legos are. There are always the right pieces in the right amounts and they always fit where they are supposed to fit. Of course the fire truck is made of blocks, but it's a little hard for him to play with because pieces fall off and there is constant rebuilding. The nature of the beast, but I wish somehow once it was put together it could stay together even when being played with.

Great Set, Lots of Details!
My 5 years old son received this as a present few months back. I am just now writing a review because this one is one of his favorites between his LEGO city sets and still plays a lot with it. The details of this set are very well thought, allowing a realistic and creative playing. If your child is into firefighters don't hesitate to get this set because he will not only enjoy the building phase but he will be playing with it a lot afterwards!
