Good 22 target

Works great for 22 rifle and handgun. Do not expect it to fall over but more of a satisfying metal to metal sound.

Great Fun Training Aid for New Shooters

FUN. I was teaching my grand kids to shoot for the first time. I'm kind of strict and authoritarian an we spent the first two thirds of the time on paper targets stressing the fundamentals. When I was satisfied they had "gotten it" I set up my new prairie popper, which we named Zombie Gopher, to inject more fun into the session. We were shooting from about 10 yards with a slight offset to the right so that the rounds were not striking the popper at a direct perpendicular. We did not experience any bullet splatter. The popper went down and came back up on every solid hit. One shot was a grazing hit and it did not go down, but it was not a solid hit. We were using CCI Mini Mag .22s in a single shot rifle. The kids couldn't wait to get the next round in the chamber and send it down range. I'm sure the popper has instilled a sense of fun and these kids will want to shoot at it many times in the future.
