Scotch Packaging Tape Hand Dispenser, Red, Holds 3" Core, 1 Dispenser

I've had this exact tape dispenser for over twenty years, so when it broke, I wanted another. If it works as well as my first one, I expect to keep it for another two decades. I find this is a simple dispenser for closing boxes or other taping-shut needs. If you're a heavy tape user, it may not be good enough for you but I've used it for shipping business items or personal boxes.

I own two grey versions of this particular tape dispenser from 20 years or more ago, and have long searched for the same item to buy again. It seems to have been out of production for many years so I am thrilled to see it available again. This is by far the best and most controllable tape dispenser on the market. The testimonials from workers at UPS and other professional packaging operations here, speak for themselves. I have always found the big dispensers made of steel to be ludicrous overkill. The point is simply to be able to quickly position the tape properly to shut off a box and twist your wrist to quickly cut the tape. Huge, heavy, clumsy tools only obstruct this process.
