A lovely light lavender plush velvet.

The picture is of a dark purple, the actual fabric is a light lavender, which is what I wanted in the first place. 100percent polyester gives this material quality. The color accuracy is a little off but who cares? I don't! The appearance is a little shimmery, the multiple strands are each slightly different shades of the same color. The softness insures that you can use it in quilts or blankets or even the interior lining of a coat!

This is stretch velvet

I'm not exactly sure how to rate this because the fabric is nice. However, it is not what I was looking for. Unless I have gone completely blind the description does not mention that this is stretch velvet. It says 100% polyester. There is quite a bit of stretch on the crosswise grain.
