They work for bread bowls!

I bought these to bake individual bread bowls for my family. The price was considerably better than purchasing small cast iron kettles and they work just as well. The fact that they came with lids was the deciding factor. I honestly don't care what they look like. They're functional. If you're into the whole floral Pioneer Woman look, I guess that's a bonus for you. Honestly, I just wanted something functional in which to bake small bread portions. They work great @ 475 degrees with parchment or without. I've done both.

Very pretty casserole dish

This casserole dish is beautiful and looks fabulous. The lid is heavy like a more expensive set but it doesnt seal completely along the sides when you put lid on it. The casserole dish itself is very pretty. I can see myself using the casserole a lot even with the lid not being flush with the casserole dish.
