CloudX < Cloud III

Came from the Cloud X which I wore for around 2 years, the quality is at least twice as good, the memory foam was so tight on my ears when I first wore them I could hear the blood moving in my head. Mic quality is crisp and clear, packaging nice as well.

Pretty good headset Hyper x Cloud III

I bought this in May for myself, but my kids still ended up using it along with me (4%267 years old) and the headset still works. I'm glad to have paid about $30 more than the Turtle Beach brand as I bought that before this and the microphone stopped working within weeks and sound quality was junky compared to this hyper cloud. I am happy with it to this point, because I need sturdy and quality, and for the price, and not breaking up to this point with two kids using it regularly, I'd recommend. I wasn't paid or sponsored to say this. I'm an Iraq vet and this sounds great with BF 6 on my Xbox. Oh yeah, I bought this for myself Xbox, cord in controller is best!

Amazing virtual surround sound when gaming. Wow.

Okay so I've had this gaming headset for about 1 week and omg. They are probably the gaming best headset I've owned for the price point. To do list: 1. Check if your laptop or desktop PC has a USB Type C port. If so, connect the gaming headset to the USB type C port instead of using the USB 3.0 adapter. USB type C is better and faster technology for your gaming headset. 2. Install HyperX Ngenuity APP (Google search it and download from HyperX website). 2a) Enable virtual surround sound (called spatial audio), 2b) go into advanced settings and adjust your virtual surround sound. Pick 12 channel virtual audio if you have that option. You can also pick either balanced, or near for virtual sound (spatial audio) depending on your preference. 2c) In settings, setup an equalizer to adjust your base, mids, and treble. 2d) In the microphone settings make sure you enable "AI noise reduction". 2e) Lastly, from the settings options make sure you enable Ngenuity to start automatically with Windows. You need Ngenuity APP running in order to enjoy virtual surround sound, otherwise the headset is "stereo" quality by default. *You need to connect the 3.5mm jack to the USB type C "sound card" as this gives you the spatial audio. Otherwise it's "stereo: quality by default. Sidenote: The microphone quality is "fair" and is probably the only drawback to this headset. Even still, this is my favorite gaming headset I've owned. These headphones are premium quality and should last you a few years as long as you take care of them.
