Dead Down Wind Laundry Detergent - Unscented - 36 oz. (up to 72 Loads)

This was a great purchase. This product was recommended to me to get unwanted odors out of clothes. It worked great. It only requires a small amount of detergent. After my stepmother passed 8 years ago, my father took up smoking again. He had quit for over 40 years. My dad was quite nose blind. My dad and stepmom also had a menagerie of small dogs living in the house. My dad was quite nose blind. When my father passed this fall, I struggled with laundering the smell out of items family members wanted to keep. I washed things several times in Tide. I even added Borax, Laundry Soda and white vinegar to the wash. The smells remained. When I switched to using Dead Down Wind, almost every item was odor free after the first wash. A few items required a second wash. After washing in Dead Down Wind the items were scent free, completely scent free. I hung them to dry and to wait to see if the smell would come back over time. It's been 7 months and I am pleased that my sister and I are able to wear dad's favorite sweatshirts!
