If you find that your dog has a tendency to gain weight when fed these amounts, you may need to reduce is calorie intake by feeding the amount recommended in the alternate column. Continue to adjust feeding amounts accordingly to help your dog reach and maintain his ideal body condition. Be sure to monitor his weight on a regular basis, making sure that his ribs are easily felt and his waist in visible when viewed from above. My dogs go crazy for this stuff - they're maintaining a healthy weight and their coats look great. The high protein turkey formula is clearly a hit. Unfortunately, I found the it incredibly tough to chew. Definitely not meant for people snacking, which honestly seems like a design flaw. Would not recommend for your own meals, but your dogs will be thrilled. Bottom line: Perfect dog food. Terrible people food. 0/10 for dinner parties.
