While I cannot comment on its effectiveness as a bed bug protector , since I do not have bed bugs, they provide excellent protection from dust mites. I am allergic to dust mites and this mattress protector prevents me from getting itchy skin. Easy to put on, even for a single person and well constructed.

Fits 9” twin bed

I bought the twin xl one for my twin because it is a tall mattress. It fits perfectly with a little room to spare. I love the peace of mind knowing that bed bugs can crawl into my mattress. By bedtime is metal so that helps too. The only thing I don't like is that sometimes I can hear the plastic when I move in my bed but I think I'll get used to it. I definitely recommend a mattress cover for anyone who lives somewhere that isn't getting pest control services! Bed bugs are horrible and multiply exponentially if they get into your bed!
