The Pulsar is an in-line computer that connects directly to the vehicle PCM, with no additional wiring harness. By connecting directly to the truck's PCM, Edge has the ability to control the vehicle to optimize performance gains, throttle response, MDS controls, mileage, and more. To make things even better, the Pulsar offers 8 performance levels that can be switched on-the-fly by using the vehicle cruise control ''+'' and ''-'' buttons on the steering wheel. The active power level (1-8) is displayed where the gear indicator shows on the dash. Pulsar installs in minutes .No PCM swap required!;

The pulsar programmer for my 2020 ram with a 5. 7 hemi is an excellent choice if you are looking to delete the MDS without the difficulty of a PCM reprogram. It's very simple to install and usability is very easy. I like the fact that I can use my steering wheel cruise control to operate without loosing the functionality of cruise control. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to delete the MDS which is known to cause failure to the motor. Also adds a little horsepower putting the crank horsepower right at 400 on the 5. 7 hemi. Overall, I love it.
