How to get it working

Very nice. Just wish they came with more usage info. No info on how to turn on. Here's what I figured out. Carefully pull on the top part of the light assembly until it loosens and comes off. Inside there is a very small grey soft plastic bulb. Underneath is the on off switch. Looking closely you can see imprinted in the black plastic on and off. Gently push the switch underneath that grey plastic toward the on position. Leave the soft grey plastic on. Don't know for sure but looks like it might help keep it dry. This will help turn on the light when it gets dark and is charged. Put the top back on the top gently and set it up where it will get direct sunlight at least part of the day. If you want to check if batteries are charged up at all, put hand over the very top of it so it will appear dark out to the sensor. Light will come one once it's charged up some. I really like mine. This retired teacher just had to share what she learned. 🤓

Good for the money

These are really nice at night at my front gate entrance. I can see them from a distance and help me find my drive at night also.

Even better in person!

I bought these on a whim as I needed something quickly and wasn't sure how it was going to turn out. Actually, their shape, quality and options of making them higher or lower is really great and they look classic, elegant and much more expensive than they are! I am really pleased and would like to buy additional ones from this company. They do go off at a certain point it seems but the solar panels seem to work well and it's December.
