Verified Purchase

Replacement for lost antique version that I had

I had an antique version of this tool that was my dad's . Loaned it another family member and now it's lost. This one is very similar. It's about 2 inches shorter and slightly narrower but has already worked well for what I needed it for. I have used a hammer on one end to drive the tool under a stone to raise it slightly without any failure.

No longer made in USA

I have been using Hyde pry bars for 30years, they have been my best friend in the construction trades. But I was very surprised when I received my new bars and the made in USA was no longer stamped in them. I called Hyde directly and was told that they have them imported now for cost savings.
