It is NOT a pink salt lamp. It is more white than pink. I have had several of them and they were all pink and has a nice shape to them. This one is not pink and not pleasing to look at. I have it sitting on the floor next to my recliner and I couldn't believe that the base wasn't attached to it. It sits on a wooden base with a light in it. What happens when the light burns out? You're out of luck. I am really not happy with the light, but I can't get out to send it back so I am stuck with it.

I didn't pay enough attention to the product details. The lamp does not include a light bulb which actually heats the salt lamp. It's original use was to kill fleas. I was able to use a lighted base i already had at home. I haven't seen a flea since.
