I am "multi-dimensional" when it comes to being a consumer of all types of Hanes men's clothing--from socks, to underwear, to T-shirts, to sweatpants, and to hoodies (both medium and heavyweight!). Most people would wear hoodies outdoors and I do as well; however, I keep my indoor thermostat set at 60 degrees in the colder months on a steady basis to save on heating costs here in northeast New Jersey and, when necessary, I wear both the Hanes medium weight and heavy weight hoodies together at the same time to keep warm. This Hanes heavyweight hoodie is of a nice weight, its quality zipper is strong and smooth operationally speaking, and the hood part of the jacket is very comfortable to wear due to its generous sizing. Wash after wash, Hanes hoodies and other Hanes items I have purchased seem to maintain their sizing with little or no shrinkage. Got the hoodie in black, as it is one of the colors that is 90% cotton. I don't care to wear synthetic materlals. By being careful about color selection I got a hoodie that I find very comfortable. Some of the color options have lower percentage of cotton. So read the entire page if you care about cotton content. I like it so much I bought a second one.
