Key item features

A Christmas mantel scarf drapes across a fireplace shelf and lays a nativity scene along the hearth in soft color. The printed artwork gathers a stable, a bright star, robed figures and a flock of sheep among winter trees. A scalloped edge runs along the hem in gentle waves, which gives the cloth a finished look instead of a raw cut. Because the surface is quilted with light padding, it sits smooth on a hard mantel and hangs with a soft fall. The plain reverse lets the runner double as a table cloth on a sideboard or a dining table. Dust it or spot clean with a damp sponge, then fold it flat for storage.
Search phrases that lead shoppers here include christmas mantel scarf, quilted fireplace cover, nativity scene runner, scalloped edge mantle cover, holiday hearth decoration, festive table runner, christmas fireplace scarf, printed mantel cover, seasonal mantel cloth and christmas hearth accent. A christmas mantel scarf answers a search for a dressed mantel. A quilted fireplace cover reaches someone planning a cosy hearth. A nativity scene runner suits a plan for a classic theme. A scalloped edge mantle cover draws a hunt for a finished hem. A holiday hearth decoration fits a living room fireplace. A festive table runner meets a need for a matching table cloth. A christmas fireplace scarf serves a query for a hearth drape. A printed mantel cover matches a wish for a scene motif. A seasonal mantel cloth answers a hunt for a soft drape. A christmas hearth accent rounds out a list for a holiday shelf.
Dress the fireplace or a long table for the season. The runner suits a fireplace shelf, a hearth ledge, a dining table, a sideboard top, a buffet counter, a console table, a window ledge, a china hutch, a kitchen island, a piano top, a stair landing table, a cabin mantel, a party table, a shop window ledge, a hall bench top, a church table, a banquet table and a stair rail top. Lay the scalloped edge toward the room so the waves show, and let the quilted body fall over the front edge. The soft cloth drapes smoothly and lifts off without a mark.
Several practical advantages make this mantel scarf easy to live with. The quilted body gives the cloth a little cushion, so it lies flat on a hard shelf instead of sliding or bunching. The scalloped edge is stitched all round, which keeps the hem from fraying through repeated holidays. Because the reverse is plain, the runner earns a second job as a table cover or a buffet drape. The printed scene keeps its color on a smooth surface, so the nativity artwork stays sharp across the season. It folds flat for a drawer, takes little room, and returns year after year.
The runner measures about 200cm (78.74 inch) long and 50cm (19.69 inch) wide, sized to sit along a wide fireplace shelf. It is cut from a soft quilted fabric with a printed front, a padded middle and a plain reverse, finished with a scalloped hem. Because it is light, it stays in place with a small weight or a tie at each end. Dust the surface or spot clean with a damp sponge and a mild soap, avoid bleach and hot dryers, and fold the cloth flat so the printed scene keeps its shape.

About this item

Product details

A quilted mantel scarf drapes across a fireplace shelf and lays a nativity scene along the hearth in soft colour. The printed artwork gathers a stable, a bright star, robed figures and a flock of sheep among winter trees, and the wave shaped scalloped edge gives the hem a finished look. The surface is quilted with a light padding, so the cloth sits smooth on a hard mantel and hangs with a gentle fall instead of clinging. Because the back is plain, the runner also works along a dining table or a sideboard as a seasonal cloth. At 200cm long it covers a wide shelf with room to spare. Dust or lightly shake the cloth, spot clean with a damp sponge, and fold it flat for storage.
