The Inventors' Place® Reusable Boat Rope Ladder is a simple, durable way to climb back aboard your boat from the water or step down to a dock. It arrives fully assembled and ready to hang: loop the top over a cleat, rail or post. Each step is held in place by E-Z-TY® reusable rope clamps and rope stops, made from a smooth composite material that will not scratch or mar gelcoat, painted surfaces or docks the way metal hardware can. The ladder uses 1/2 inch twisted nylon rope and has a 300 pound weight limit for one person at a time, with steps spaced about one foot apart. For climbing aboard from the water, choose a length that puts at least two steps below the waterline; boats with a higher side or transom usually need the 4 or 5 step. Because the hardware is reusable, a worn rope is no reason to replace the ladder. Just move the clamps and steps to new 1/2 inch rope with a Phillips screwdriver, and you may never need to buy another rope ladder. When you are done, it rolls up small enough to fit in a backpack, boat locker or truck box, making it a good fit for powerboats, pontoons, sailboats, inflatables and docks.
