Key item features

These corner guards push onto the sharp corner of a range hood or a shelf, so a head or an arm meets a soft silicone edge instead of a metal point. The flexible material grips the corner without glue, and the rounded face takes a knock without cracking. Because the cover is silicone, it stays flexible through hot and cold, and the slim profile keeps it from catching on a cloth as a surface is wiped. The neutral shape suits a range of corners. A spare set can be kept in a drawer for a second shelf or a table corner.
Ten category phrases fit these guards, each for a separate job: Corner Guards cover a point; Range Hood Protector cushions an edge; Silicone Bumper takes a knock; Kitchen Edge Guard suits a counter; Anti Collision Pad suits a shelf; Soft Corner Cover suits a table; Edge Protector Set suits a cabinet; Furniture Corner Pad suits a desk; Silicone Edge Guard suits a hood; and Safety Corner Pad suits a store room. Each phrase matches its own search, so one page can be found in many ways.
Fit them on a range hood, a kitchen counter, a shelf edge, a cabinet corner, a work bench, a utility room shelf, a garage shelf, a store room rack, a caravan counter, a studio table, a workshop bench, and a pantry shelf. The flexible silicone presses onto a corner by hand, and the soft face cushions a knock at shoulder height. The rounded face takes a wipe with a cloth, and the silicone back grips a painted corner without a mark. A spare guard in the drawer covers a second shelf the same week. The soft cover can be pressed on by hand with no tool.
The soft silicone body is the main advantage, because a sharp corner turns into a rounded bumper without a screw or a bracket. Flexible material grips by friction, the rounded face spreads a knock, and the silicone compound stays soft through heat and cold. Wipe clean surfaces handle a splash, the slim cover stays clear of a cloth, and the neutral tone suits most kitchen units. A spare guard in the drawer covers a second corner, and the friction back needs no glue or a bracket.
Each guard measures about 4.5 x 4.5 x 1.4 cm (1.8 x 1.8 x 0.6 inch), a size that suits a hood corner or a shelf edge. It is moulded from soft silicone in a rounded shape with a friction fit back. Wash it in warm water, dry it before fitting, keep it clear of direct flame, press it onto a clean corner, and allow a small tolerance on the stated sizes. Press the guard onto a clean corner and check it sits flush before use, and keep a spare in the drawer for a swap. Wash it by hand and let it air dry.
