  • One ingredient, nothing else: 100% coconut oil. No refining, no bleaching, no solvents, no preservatives, no blending. What the coconut had is what the bottle has.
  • Wood pressed, slowly: Sun dried coconut (copra) is pressed in a wooden ghani at low speed, so the oil never heats up and keeps its clean coconut aroma and taste. It is pressed from dried coconut, so it is a cold pressed copra oil, and we say so plainly.
  • Unfiltered by design: The oil settles by gravity and is bottled as it is. It turns solid and white below about 76 F and clear again in a warm kitchen. Both are normal.
  • In the kitchen: Sauteing and roasting vegetables, stovetop popcorn, vegan baking in place of butter for pie crust, cookies and granola, curries and Filipino ginataan dishes, and a spoon melted over oatmeal. Takes medium heat well and brings a clean coconut note.
  • And for hair and skin: The same food grade oil is the classic pre wash hair oil for natural and curly hair, a scalp oil, and a moisturizer for dry hands, feet and elbows. Pressed in small batches in Ahmedabad, India, sealed in a BPA free PET bottle and shipped to the USA. Best before 6 months from packing.
