Photochromic Lenses for Changing Daylight

The UV400 lenses begin shifting from their lighter tint toward a darker shade within seconds under sufficient UV. Light-state VLT is gray 38%, blue 43%, brown 53%, or green 50%, reaching approximately 14% in the darkened state. Returning fully to the lighter tint takes several minutes to over ten minutes. UV level, temperature, and environment affect both transition speed and tint depth.

Polarized at Every Tint Level

Polarization remains active in both lighter and darker tint states, helping reduce reflected glare from roads, water, and other reflective surfaces. Lens darkness and polarization are separate properties, so a lighter-looking lens still retains its polarized function. Water conditions, sun angle, weather, and lens color can affect what the wearer sees around the water.

Fit Over Prescription Glasses

The fit-over structure is compatible with prescription glasses measuring up to 140 x 51 mm. Measure the full outside width and height of your glasses before ordering. The flexible 24 g TR90 frame keeps the over-glasses design lightweight and practical for everyday outdoor wear.

Designed for Variable Daylight

These lenses are designed for appropriate daytime driving and outdoor use; not suitable for driving at night. Windshields and some window films reduce UV exposure, so the tint change may be less noticeable inside a vehicle or behind glass. Some LCDs, dashboards, HUDs, and screens may appear different depending on the device and viewing angle.
