Oh my goodness, I was so excited to try another makeup kit from KAVCENT! I've purchased quite a few makeup sets over the years, and while they're usually fun, the makeup itself often feels pretty inexpensive. That hasn't been my experience with this company at all! I wouldn't compare it to luxury makeup, but I do think the quality is considerably nicer than what I've typically received in inexpensive makeup kits. The foundation is one of my favorite products. It gives my skin a lovely, smooth, matte-looking finish without feeling particularly heavy. I also really love their liquid lip colors. They come in tubes similar to lip gloss, but they wear more like lipstick. On me, the color stays put nicely and gives my lips a fuller-looking, more defined appearance without actually plumping them. And the eyeshadow palette in this particular kit may be my favorite one from them yet! The colors are beautiful, especially the soft neutrals and rosy shades. I felt they really made my eyes stand out. I usually prefer a simple, natural makeup look, but I think these shades would also be lovely for creating something more dramatic. The kit also includes mascara, eyeliner, eyebrow makeup, a basic makeup sponge, and a set of travel-sized makeup brushes. I found the eye and brow products fairly standard, and the brushes feel nicer than the inexpensive brushes I've received in many other makeup kits. I've included a couple of photographs of myself wearing the makeup so you can see how it looks with a softer, everyday application. Overall, I'm really impressed with this set. It's fun, the colors are beautiful, and several of the products have become favorites of mine. I'm so happy I tried another kit from this company!
