it's pretty sturdy it's just a little wobbly and the bars don't fit exactly in the slots where they slide up so when it moves it makes a lot of hanging and jingling which is kind of annoying but it also would be better if it came with like a locking latch cuz I mean I get that it's for pets but in my personal situation my son is nonverbal autistic and he likes to run so he can open a lot of gates I ended up having to install a latch on it but it works really well it does what I need and keeps him in so he's not taking off and getting in trouble or hurt. I definitely recommend it to people it's easy to install it's pretty basic and not difficult to understand I have one on my front door and one on my back door they work well.
