Good choice for the money

I bought this mid-grade Hamilton Beach food processor to replace a Farberware food processor that broke. On the Farberware, while shredding cheese, a piece got lodged in between the blade and the lid and snapped the plastic post. The same thing happened on the Hamilton Beach, but it did not break. It did a very good job chopping onions, too. If you are looking for big chunks though, watch out! It is very powerful!

I Love This Food Processor!

Very pleased with my Hamilton Beach food processor with scraper. Wide chute for easy feeding, and the scraper really helps so that I don't need to stop and open it up to scrape down the sides all the time, thus speeding up processing time. I highly recommend this product!

Ideal product for making salsa and dips

Bought it for making dips, salsa and some chutneys, it works very well for a family of 4 to 6. Not so suitable for making in smaller quantity though. It functions well and as intended, initially had trouble with opening and closing the jar lid, but after a couple of attempts got used to it to close the lid properly. Haven't explored the other food processing possibilities with it yet.
