Easy to fill. Not very heavy at all once filled (which was an initial concern). Holds a lot which allows for several days absence (2-3)

Top filling feeder very convenient.

We had a feeder but it was smaller and it wasn't as nice. This one fills from the top and it is so much easier to fill than the ones that fill from the bottom.
