so this is a awesome fingerprint door lock, i am not that great with installing things like this and the instructions are not easy to understand because it tells you more about installing the inside doorknob and not much about the outside doorknob but i figured it out and installed it myself so basically you measure the width of your door (with included thick paper cutouts to measure and check measurement's) and that's how you pick which bar to use first you see what bar to use then put the wire through the bar if you bend the wire so the plastic plug fits sideways through the bar and push the wire through then put the outside knob in so the bar can be put into the inside knob. after putting the bar into the inside knob you push the little gold looking button to open the inside knob where the battery's go. when you push that the piece comes flying off so i wish i knew that, then screw the knobs togeather there's a hole on doorknob on both sides so you can fit the screws in then insert batteries. the rest is understandable. so i get it all set up with the app add my fingerprint and set it to stay 🔓 unlocked, or so i thought i went downstairs and came back (this is installed on my bedroom door) and turned the handle but it wouldnt open i got nervous but i tried my fingerprint that didnt work so i tried again and it did so im going to keep a key somewhere out in the hall just incase but it worked and i realized there's another setting to keep it unlocked. i like that you can make different settings like lock my door whenever i close my door or stay unlocked and just move the toggle to turn them on or off. i will definately tell everyone i know to purchase one after getting a hang of the settings its great!! pro's- love everything from using my fingerprint to using the app as well to unlock and make a code as well con's - instructions aren't the best which i explained because i wish i knew these things when i installed mine. definitely recommend!! oh btw it also talks to you..

Excellent lock

A neighbor recently opened my door and tried to walk into my house. I was in my backyard. Cameras didn't deter her. Since she has no boundaries I needed to update my security. This is great! I don't need my keys constantly and it auto locks. Also prevents my toddler from trying to open the door. Install took a bit because I had to chisel the hole in my door bigger. It takes 4 AAA batteries. I haven't used the app yet, so I can't speak to that.
