Machine wash cold gentle cycle; wash separately or with similar fabrics. Do not bleach or use fabric softener — it damages sherpa pile and reduces fluffiness. Tumble dry low or lay flat to dry; remove promptly. Do not iron — heat will melt and flatten the sherpa fibers. Do not dry clean. First wash may shed loose fibers; this is normal and will diminish after a few washes. Avoid washing with rough fabrics (denim, towels) to prevent matting.

Lightweight Barn Jacket

This Corduroy Barn Jacket was a disappointment for me. I was looking for a budget fashion barn jacket; however the quality of this one is lacking. I usually wear a large size in jackets in order to layer it over sweaters. Since this is a lighter weight jacket, I ordered an extra large so I could wear a sweatshirt or hoodie under this. I would say it runs pretty true to size. It is a cropped length. I am 5'3” tall and it hits me right below my waist. If you are taller it would be really cropped. It is advertised as a corduroy barn jacket and it is corduroy in weaving style. The weave creates the raised parallel ridges or wales of corduroy. It is 100% polyester. It is truly lightweight and feels soft. If you are looking for a warmer barn jacket this would not be it. It is fully lined in soft light weight material. The quality of the stitching in the seams and lining why I am giving it a 1 star. The way the lining is causes the hem of the jacket to look like it is falling out. There does not seem to be any way to correct this. You can see in the pictures attached. There are threads that don't end at the bottom of the jacket and the button holes fray some. The collar and cuffs are attractive. If the construction was better this would be a very lightweight and budget friendly barn jacket.
