The instructions could be a little better. I had a coke on hand to try it out. It worked fine but I couldn't find an off button. I thought it might be getting too thick so I unplugged it. Upon raising the release on the front, only a few drips came out. I couldn't find anything in the instructions as to why the fluid would not come out. I googled the model number with my question. The answer was simple. You must leave the machine with auger on. The auger pushed the content out when the release arm is lowered. Gee, did I ever feel ignorant. After plugging it back in, pushing slush again, I lowered the arm and slushy coke plopped right out. To turn it off, I discovered I can simply push the button again. Choosing pushing slush to start and pushing slush again to stop. That does not turn the machine off but it stops the operation. The left panel has the options you will choose, such as ice cream, slush, etc. Push whichever one you are making. The right panel has the level of coldness, on, and clean. The digital level of coldness, increases up to level 9 being the coldest. The barrel that holds your contents, has the maximum line on it so you will know not to overfill. A drip tray is included and that simply snaps into place. There is suction type feet on the bottom and the machine will stay in place and not move around. Know the measurements by viewing the seller specs. I have to scoot it out a bit from my counter when adding content and that is not a big deal but you may want to know the height, etc. Instructions include how to dismantle the machine for thorough cleaning. It's important to read the instructions and there is really not much to read. It does have diagrams. Also included is a nice little colorful sheet of some recipes. This machine is somewhat heavy. It is very easy to use. Instructions could contain more tips. I'm looking forward to purchasing a variety of syrups for making slushies, YUM.
