Keep the pattern readable from the street

A complicated sequence on a phone screen can look busy once it's spread across a whole house. For a long frontage, repeating a few sections gives the eye a pattern to follow. There's still plenty of room for color, and the important parts of the design don't disappear into a jumble when viewed from across the road.
