this rug is really soft and looks just like the picture. It is on the thinner side as the description shows. The rug arrived folded and packages in a box which causes creasing. I immediately opened up the box and laid the rug flat. It took almost a week for the rug to loose the creases from being folded. Im very happy with my purchase of this 8x10 rug for my bedroom. The print and design is perfect for the holiday season without breaking the bank.

Rug material would not hold up for extended period of time for a main door entrance in my option as it reminds me of a felt texture; however being used for just the holidays at my door entrance in my foyer will be find as I have a outdoor rug before stepping into the house and I have a rule for the family %26 close friends to remove their shoes coming inside. The colors are slightly more muted than pictured; but I found that I like it a lot!
