Holds projects securely

What can I say? This is the brand we all know and love and it comes in a ton of colors. It does rip but my little hands have a hard time doing it. I cut it, then the last 1/4" I rip. Stronger people could probably rip it without scissors. I used mine to secure the bottoms of a cat scratcher I made using ceramic self-adhesive sand paper roll in 80 grit. See the picture. I used 80 grit, a lower grit, so the cats wouldn't wear their nails to the nub. I just wanted them to gently file their nails when scratching.
