I love having pictures around my house and I have a lot of different picture frames. I ordered this one because it's a nice big frame with a very pretty matting. The frame is made of a light colored wood, which feels solid, like definitely better than something you would get at the dollar tree. The glass comes with a protective film on top of it, so you have to peel it off before you're ready to display your photo. Super easy to access the inside of the frame, you just move the little metal latches to the side, then take the backing off. You can either place the photo on a ledge, or there are two nail hangers mounted on the back. One for if you want the frame and landscape, and one for if you want the frame in portrait. Can't wait to put our new family photo in this! (in some of my photos the wood looks a little bit more orange, but in real life is definitely more on the lighter side, and doesn't have that orange shoe to it! It's just the lighting in my house, sorry!) 100% recommend!
