Strange, dress structure, comfy material

Comfy material but unless you're a skinny twig like that girl in the photo, it is not a flattering looking dress the length is longer than pictured. It goes down about mid calf making it look like Mrs. Butterworth and the sleeves flare, which is very strange because that is not pictured nor desired. It almost seems like it's made wrong. Why would the sleeves suddenly get big at the wrist?
