Merrell Women's Moab Speed 2, Gale, 7, Medium

I bought these about three weeks ago for hiking the Cinque Terre in Italy. I am an avid hiker. I am 66 years old and I have always had to spend time breaking in boots, NOT these! Excellent fit from the first step. The sole grip is spot on. The lightweight is perfect for traveling. Plenty of room in the toe box. I usually wear 8.5 US, I sized up to a nine. After two full days of hiking on steep ascents and difficult descents and loads of rocky trails, my feet didn't get a single hotspot or blister. I hope these shoes last, because I really like them.

I really like the tread on these, they have great grip on the trail and feel super reliable on different terrain. They're a great hiking sneaker overall, especially for day hikes. The roomy toe box is a plus and keeps my feet comfortable. They're also cute and stylish, which is a nice bonus. Definitely a solid pick if you want something functional but still good-looking.
