It's like it was made for our kitchen! :)
We are so happy with this purchase. The front and back are identical on each side, which was a pleasant surprise, as we'd assumed it would be very plain looking on one side. An absolute 5-star purchase! BTW, Hayneedle is a great place to shop, as we'd almost made the mistake of purchasing this piece from a famous home store retailer near us (hint: it rhymes with ""blows,"") who also sold this product and guess what? It not only DIDN'T include the stools, but it was also about $200 more and charged for shipping, can you believe it?!!) Thank you so much, Hayneedle, we will now be shopping you first for all of our home furnishing needs. -Dave & Nicole :)

Classy kitchen island
Quick, free delivery. No problems with the boxes. I had done a lot of research before this purchase, and I am very pleased. We were limited in the size of an island for our kitchen, but this fits perfectly. It is classy looking. Nice butcher block top. Drawers open from either side as do lower doors. There was a slight paint smell, but nothing too bad. We also received two black stools with padded seats. A nice bonus!
