Wonderful coat for the winter. Super warm. Multiple layers. Waterproof.

Go up at least one size. Going up two sizes, may be better. If you are small built, perhaps your regular size is fine but I still would suggest going up one size. I wear a 1X and I chose the 2X just in case it runs small. It's still a bit small. It's somewhat tight across the back shoulder area. It's also not quite large enough for me to zip up. I'm 5'7 barefoot. This parka length hits me at the hips. It's a good length for a parka car coat. The hood is removable. There's a ton of quality to this jacket coat and I sure wish it fit me well but unfortunately it doesn't. It has deep zip side pockets and the upper right front has a zip pocket. Inside is a large mesh pocket that would fit a tablet, rather large open pocket. The inside is mostly fur like the inside of the hood, but also has thick quilted material at the lower area. There's even a couple of drawstrings on either side at the bottom if you want to tighten. I will say, I have there is a difference between XXL and 2X. Generally 2X is going to be roomier than an XXL. Same goes for Xl and 1X. I chose 2X and this is a XXL. If this parka was a real 2X, it would have fit me with a little room to spare. Also, I was looking to see if the inside was a liner that could be removed, it cannot. The hood is zippered and can in fact be removed. The outside is a shell material that prevents rain and snow from soaking through. It is a very good quality parka. Also the hand area has an elastic type material that will go over your hand with a thumb hole. You can still text or handle whatever while still keeping some hand warmth. Who knows, maybe I'll shed a few pounds walking on my treadmill every day. Ok, probably not but I may donate it at Christmas time to someone in need of a winter parka.
