This is super exciting. Puzzle and mystery together! It's small pieces so I would say definitely for big kids and adults. I'm planning to do with my husband and maybe with kids later too. I feel like this got all the good components of family fun. Spending time together, learning something and working together.

This is such a clever and refreshing take on a traditional 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle! The Roaring Twenties New York artwork is wonderfully detailed, with bustling streets, iconic buildings, period characters, and so many little things happening throughout the scene that putting the puzzle together is only the beginning of the fun. What really sets this puzzle apart is the detective mystery built into it. Once the puzzle is completed, you don't simply admire it and put it away. You become the detective! There are 21 different cases to solve, and you have to carefully study the completed picture, search for hidden clues and crime scenes, notice tiny details, and use logic and observation to figure out what happened. It turns a jigsaw puzzle into an entirely different kind of experience. I especially love the envelopes. They add another layer of suspense and make the whole thing feel much more like an actual mystery game than an ordinary puzzle. Opening the envelopes as you work your way through the investigation is such a fun touch and makes the experience feel interactive and special. The puzzle itself is also excellent quality. The pieces are thick and sturdy with precise cuts and fit together nicely, and the finished puzzle is a generous size with enough detail to make both the assembly and the detective portion challenging and interesting.
