Samrado Wireless Cat Water Fountain, 3L Automatic Pet Dispenser, Filter-Free, Clean & Waste Water Separation, 180-Day Battery for Indoor Cats, White

I didn't realize this fountain didn't need to stay constantly plugged in, and that is a huge plus! My cats' water intake has improved so much since getting an automatic water fountain, but one off the biggest drawback with my previous fountain was always needing to keep it plugged in. With this one, I can put it wherever my cats actually prefer to drink instead of wherever there happens to be an outlet. The 3L clean-water tank and 2L waste-water tank are another feature I really like. The waste water is separated from the clean drinking water rather than sitting in the same reservoir, which should help keep their drinking water fresher. I also love that it's filterless. No replacement filters to buy. Of course I realize that no filter doesn't mean no cleaning and sadly we have extremely hard water. Even with filtered water, I'm concerned that mineral buildup on the plastic will eventually make it look less attractive, so I'm not looking forward to the scrubbing that may be ahead. The pumpless design and auto sensors are other features that are cool. No more slimy parts and the sensor automatically refills the water when it's low and I can customize the timing and amount it puts out. The plastic is my biggest reservation. It looks beautiful right now, with a modern, contemporary design that really elevates my cats' feeding area, the bear knob and leatherette strap are a fun touch, but hard water deposits can make even attractive plastic look rough over time. My cats are fascinated by the tipping bowl. I believe that since they're interested in it, there's a better chance they'll actually use it consistently. And everyone likes that it's got a quiet motor and makes very little noise. Assembly and setup was easy peasy, the directions were easy to understand. The battery charged quickly and it has a blinking light as a warning when it's getting low. I'm happy with the cordless design, quiet operation, attractive appearance and the fact that my cats are actually drinking more water which leads to a longer life!

The cats were skeptical at first but then they loved it. I like no more filters to buy. I had to charge the unit for several hours before first use. Easy to clean and maintain. A little bit big but the water lasted more than a week. I'm happy and kitty is happy.
