This desk took about an hour to put together. The instructions were OK. Should have read first that chair parts were in yellow bags and desk parts were in clear bags to make it easier to separate them, instead of taking them all out at once. My daughter has been using it for over a month. It is perfect for her- she is 4 1/2 and uses it for her homework. The tilt on the desk doesn't stay very well so we don't have it all the way up. One side locks great, the other one doesn't. You put a little pressure on it and it's starts to slide.
