Assembly is simple but looks like mine was defective .. comes in 2 pieces, and the top didn't line up correctly with the bottom. Also the the finish is little off in the piece that I recd .. you see a black line .. who can don't look nice… other than that the storage feature and the material is good.

High hopes dashed

I was so excited for this chair but it was defective and I was not able to assemble or use it. The back slides onto the base via interlocking metal hardwares that come attached to pieces. Unfortunately, there were installed incorrectly/poorly because the upper and lower pieces weren't even close to lining up. I like some other reviews I saw, my experience was that the hardware wasn't even close to being in the right place so I couldn't have "forced it into place" as other reviewers mentioned having to do. The item's color and fabric were exactly as pictured and the base had a handy little storage hole in the middle. I was bummed to have to put it right back in its package.
