Kraken Bond ThermaFoam Wide Spray Foam Insulation is a one component closed cell polyurethane foam sealant for filling, insulating, and sealing gaps, cavities, seams, and hard to reach areas. Each can contains 16 oz of expanding foam designed for indoor and outdoor non structural insulation and sealing projects. Each 16 oz can is listed with a 10 board feet yield at 1 inch under proper application conditions. The wide spray pattern helps cover larger areas with fewer passes, while the included smart nozzle supports controlled application in attics, crawl spaces, wall cavities, California corners, ceilings, foundations, around window and door frames, and penetrations for pipes, ducts, and conduits. ThermaFoam helps create a dense insulation layer that can reduce air leakage, thermal bridging, condensation, and moisture related issues. It provides an R-value of 5.66 per inch and is Class A fire rated under ASTM E84, with a Flame Spread Index (FSI) of 15 or less and a Smoke Developed Index (SDI) of 40 or less. The foam bonds to common building materials including wood, concrete, masonry, metal, and drywall. After full cure, it can be cut, trimmed, shaped, and painted. No spray gun is needed for application.
