Grounds in the coffee!

It took a long time to get to me. It literally came on a slow boat from China. If Walmart is going to sell this item, shouldn't there be a warehouse in the USA that has some to ship in the US? The instructions only covered making tea (not coffee). There is coffee grounds in the coffee! I don't know what to do to prevent the grounds from overflowing. Another brand on Amazon said that coarse ground coffee works best. This perculator needs a cover on the basket to stop the overflow. I like the percolator just not the grounds in my cup of coffee.

Mixed on this one.

While I do enjoy the coffee it produces. I do not enjoy the gamble of whether or not it's going to overflow. I can seem to add enough grinds without causing a mess during the percolation process. I have to sacrifice the strength in my coffee and make more small batches. Not the end of the worlds but not the most convenient either. That's why I give only the three stars. If maybe slightly larger reservoir for the grinds or larger kettle it would prevent this. Or maybe it's me, but I've had others in the past the had an additional lid on top of the grind reservoir that prevents that over splatter but still manage to allow pressure out.
