Jockey Women's Cotton Modal Blend Pant

I have gotten so spoiled by my other pairs of jockey pajamas with pockets, I won't buy any more that don't have pockets, and these were a similar fabric blend to the other pair I really like. I'm 5'8 and also love the 30" inseam, a lot of pajama pants are floods on me. My biggest complaint is my other pairs of pajama pants from jockey fit just fine in an XL but these once they have anything in the pockets are falling right off. There really is not a lot in the waist to hold them up. I'm ordering them in a large to see if that is the issue, but my thighs are not exactly small so it's hard to say how that will work out. I do appreciate the colors, the black and blue/navy are nice, the other pairs I've been wearing are like almost skin colored and kind of embarrassing to get the mail in.

I bought these hoping for lounge pants after back surgery. Bought the 2XL using the size chart. I could live with size around the hips but the waist is so large and unsupported that there would be no way to keep them up. Since I've washed them hoping they would shrink I'm stuck with trying to figure out how to add elastic at the waist. Bummer.
