this outfit is adorable. and true to size. this doll wears a size 0-3 month. it fits the doll perfectly. so i would assume it would fit a child equally well. the material is not soft but, not stiff or scratchy. made fairly well. adjustable straps. the only reason i did not give it 5 stars is that the bow tie does not hook onto the button well and goes crooked or flops around. i will have to make an adjusment of some kind for that. i actually got the outfit for my soon to be grandson, not the doll.
