The assembly could be easier. If you have help to assemble the item, you'll find the seat not too difficult to put on. If you're placing the seat on by yourself, you may have to put a little sweat into it. The included instructions state, not too tighten the screws and that is being gentle. I say, barely place the screws into the seat when attaching to the three braces. Otherwise you'll really struggle get it attached to the last brace. I assembled them myself. The height options consist of attaching the bottom portion legs or not. I think that is a nice idea because you can easily remove the bottom parts of the legs at any time. Or, if you don't need the chairs that high for now, put the bottom part of the legs away in a safe place and you may use them later. With the additional part of the legs on, you have leveler feet. Without the additional legs, you push in an accordion type fitting into the bottom of the leg. I think that is a best feature, having the option of a taller or a shorter bar counter height. I like the seat and the arm rest and I can sit in them just fine BUT do know that the seats are not very wide or large. To be blunt, if you have wide hips or a big person in general, these are probably not for you. If you are average height and weight, you'll find these comfortable. I like the material, also. I'm not a big fan of leather or pu, or any slippery type material for counter stools chairs. They do look nice but I think they would have looked 100 percent better if they had made the actual chair seat and back, larger. Picture is with tall height legs attached. In my last image below, I am display the 4 caps that go into the legs of one chair, if you do not want to place the tall legs in. Since you get 2 chairs, of course, you will have two sets of those caps.
