80W Active Bookshelf Speakers with Bluetooth 5.3, Wireless Stereo Studio Monitor Speaker w/ 3" Woofer, Built-in 24bit DAC Dynamic 3D Surround Sound, USB/Optical/AUX Input for Home TV PC Gaming, White

Electronics/audio is my hobby. These active speakers (model BK3020) remind me of the old Radio Shack Minimus-7's. Roughly the same size mini speakers. These are amplified. They have a built-in amp rated at 25 watts/ch. I have not yet measured output, but they deinitely deliver decent power enough to fill a small to moderate room with sound. There is Bass %26 Treble plus separate preset EQ settings. idk if both can be employed simultaneously. The Volume control doubles as the EQ selector. A single LED indicates the Mode selection (Bluetooth, Aux-in, Dig-optical, etc by different colors) One speaker houses all the electronics/amp. The other speaker is the passive (slave) speaker. They are connected to one another via a single speaker cable with RCA male plugs at both ends. This speaker cable is roughly 6-feet long. NOTE: If you'd like further separation, you can look online for longer speaker cables with RCA ends. Or, an extension cable with male RCA at one end and female RCA at the other. The speakers themselves consist of small 3-inch woofers (bass-mid driver) and a 1-inch tweeter (treble driver). The woofer is tuned to the cabinet which is quite nice. The cabinet is MDF construction with rounded edges. This reduces diffraction issues a bit. The woofer cone is a layered hybrid and sounds very good for its size. The tweete is actually a silk soft dome approximately 5/8- inch, mounted in a horn-type sound diffuser. In the rear is a bass-reflex port. So, I like the overall sound. Playing some EDM with deep bass and articulate highs, I was shocked at how large and strong these little guys performed. I kept Bass/Treble at the center (flat) position. There is a center detent. Very nice 👍. Midrange is smooth, not strident as is typical with small speakers. Treble is slightly withdrawn, which makes the overall sound very well balanced. But the bass...the bass shocked me! idk if an EQ setting is active (no way to tell). But the bass is incredibly deep and large. I have large floor standing speakers custom built to resemble the old Radio Shack Mach Ones (with 15-inch woofers), and these little mini speakers sounded amazingly similar. I couldn't believe it. Bass is strong down to the 40-Hz range! Excellent! 👍. These little cabinets are very well tuned, using an elbow-shaped tuning duct, thus allowing deeper, fuller lows. Possibly an EQ setting is active. No way to tell. But the sound is amazing for this size speaker. Power is fine. You can't rock the house. But these speakers got quite loud with no hint of distortion. Again, very nice 👍. Compared to most mini speakers and/or mini stereo systems with similar mini speakers, these BK3020's are hands down the best sounding mini speakers I've ever heard. If I close my eyes, I am feeling as tho I am listening to my large floor speakers. The overall sound quality is simply stunning. Free shipping with walmart . Very well packed. Very Highly Recommended
